Furever Perfect Pups, LLC – Millersburg, Ohio

Welcome to Furever Perfect Pups, LLC. These Terms & Conditions outline the policies for purchasing and caring for a puppy from us. By placing a reservation fee, purchasing a puppy, or taking possession of a puppy, you agree to these terms.

Our goal is to ensure the lifelong health, safety, and well-being of every puppy we raise.

1. Puppy Health & Veterinary Care

1.1 Initial Health

All puppies are examined by our licensed veterinarian at 6 weeks of age and leave for their new homes with:

Age-appropriate vaccinations

Deworming (routine preventative treatment)

A veterinarian-issued health certificate

Complete health records

Parasites Notice:
Intestinal parasites are extremely common in puppies. While we follow industry-standard preventative care, we cannot guarantee a puppy will be parasite-free at pickup.

1.2 Two-Year Health Warranty

We provide a 2-year warranty against:

Debilitating congenital defects

Breed-specific genetic/hereditary diseases (as defined in Section 5)

A congenital defect is defined as a condition present from birth that is life-threatening or prevents the dog from living a normal, functional life.

1.3 Conditions for Warranty Coverage

To maintain warranty eligibility:

The puppy must be examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours (3 business days) of pickup/delivery.

The buyer must provide documentation of any diagnosed congenital defect.

The breeder may require a second veterinary opinion at breeder’s expense.

If the puppy passes away, a necropsy performed by a licensed veterinarian or veterinary teaching hospital is required to determine cause of death.

The warranty becomes void if:

The puppy is euthanized without breeder consent.

The necropsy results are inconclusive.

The puppy is transferred, sold, or given away.

The puppy has been neglected, injured, or exposed to harmful circumstances.

1.4 Conditions Not Covered

We genetically test all breeding dogs and carefully pair sires and dams to avoid producing genetically affected puppies.

  • Addison’s disease
  • Disorders unrelated to the specific mutations listed above

3. Puppy Temperament & Development

While we use proven breeding practices and temperament evaluations, we cannot guarantee:

  • Adult size or weight
  • Coat type, shedding level, or color changes
  • Allergy-friendliness
  • Temperament in adulthood
  • Lifespan

Personality is heavily shaped by the puppy’s environment, training, and socialization after leaving our care.

4. Buyer Responsibilities

To maintain the health warranty, buyers agree to:

  • Provide proper veterinary care and annual wellness exams
  • Maintain flea, tick, and heartworm prevention
  • Feed high-quality dog food (TLC Pet Food strongly recommended)
  • Keep the puppy at a healthy weight
  • Provide appropriate exercise (no forced or strenuous exercise before 12 months)
  • Groom the dog regularly
  • Keep puppy parasite-free
  • Avoid exposure to unvaccinated animals or public spaces until fully vaccinated
  • Seek veterinary care immediately if the puppy becomes ill or injured

Failure to meet these standards voids the warranty.

5. Deposits, Payments & Refund Policies

5.1 Reservation Fee

A $300 non-refundable reservation fee is required to hold a puppy under 6 weeks old.

If the puppy becomes ill or passes away in breeder care, the fee is refunded.

Reservation fees are non-refundable under all other circumstances.

5.2 Final Payment

If picking up at our facility: Final balance is due in cash, or through our website at pickup.

If transporting: Puppy must be paid in full by 7 weeks of age.

5.3 Refunds & Chargebacks

PayPal chargebacks are strictly prohibited.

Any attempted dispute forfeits all payments and rights to purchase from us.

6. Pickup, Transportation & Boarding

6.1 Pickup

Puppies go home no earlier than 8 weeks.

Pickups are by appointment only.

6.2 Extended Boarding

If a puppy stays past 9 weeks (buyer delay):

A boarding fee of $30 per day applies

Additional vet or incidental fees may apply

No boarding fees apply if the delay is caused by the breeder.

6.3 Shipping

If shipping is requested:

Buyer covers all transportation costs

Shipping fees are non-refundable

Replacement puppies (if applicable) also require buyer-paid shipping

7. Microchipping & Insurance

7.1 Microchip

Every puppy is microchipped at 6 weeks at no cost to the buyer.
Buyers must register the microchip (link provided: Free Pet Chip Registry).

7.2 Insurance

We provide a Trupanion 30-day complimentary policy.
Insurance is highly recommended, especially during the first 2 years.

8. Rehoming Policy

If at any point the buyer cannot keep the dog:

The buyer must contact the breeder first.

We will help determine a proper rehoming solution.

The dog must never be surrendered to a shelter, rescue, or sold to third parties.

No refunds are given.

This ensures every puppy always has a safe and loving home.

9. Exposure, Safety & Puppy Care Requirements

To protect your puppy:

  • No public places, parks, pet stores, or unknown animal contact until fully vaccinated (~16 weeks).
  • Avoid letting strangers or unknown pets handle the puppy.

Early exposure to contaminated areas voids the warranty.

10. Limitations of Liability

Furever Perfect Pups, LLC is not responsible for:

Any veterinary bills after pickup

Any illnesses or injuries occurring after the puppy leaves our care

Any incidental, consequential, or special damages

11. Photos & Social Media

All puppies are sold on a strict non-breeding agreement unless otherwise stated in writing.

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio.

14. Agreement

By placing a deposit, purchasing a puppy, or taking possession, you acknowledge:

You have read and understood these Terms & Conditions
